Republican Georgia wanted to go first, time to send a loud and clear message

Republicans chose Georgia to launch their desperate attempt to hold on to power by passing anti-democratic legislation to suppress the vote. Other states are watching and ready to follow.
It is incumbent on those who love democracy to make an example of Georgia. Hit the state hard economically. Tighten the screws. Make the Republicans who run it suffer. End their political careers.
Brian Kemp is the new Lester Maddox and George Wallace, the face of suppression. Let him meet the same judgment of history.
Baseball went first with real commitment, continuing the legacy of Jackie Robinson. Action beats words every time. Accept no less.
You have to pick a hill worth fighting for and for me it’s free and fair elections where voters of every creed, color and race can easily and freely choose candidates from the marketplace of ideas — people like Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock of Georgia, two more interested in enriching our lives and guaranteeing the country’s future than stuffing their wallets.
This is not a rehearsal. We may not get a second chance.
