Poll: 42 percent of Republicans would not consider voting for Christie

A New York Times/CBS News poll shows Republican voters showed the most openness to considering Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee and Jeb Bush among their party’s presidential contenders. On the losing end of it was Chris Christie: “Republican voters were least resistant to Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin: Only 13 percent said they would not consider voting for him. At the opposite extreme, 42 percent of Republicans said they would not consider voting for Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey,” the Times wrote. Despite all the attention to her foundation and other potentially negative issues, Hillary Clinton is doing all right. “Americans now view Mrs. Clinton more favorably and more see her as a strong leader than they did earlier in the year,” the Times wrote.
